It has been about four years since I was on the ice.
Today was the day the ice skates went back on and we headed out.
We are lucky to have a pond at a local park that is kept up during the winter for ice skating.
It is watered each evening and the morning brings a most pristine finish to the surface.
So smooth and perfect for gliding, and oh so slippery!
After two rounds, I had to retire, and when did I fall, at the last two feet before I exited the ice.
Figures.
